1. To add more FUN to my life. I had been working in the drug/alcohol treatment field with homeless folks for a number of years. While very rewarding, not much FUN.
2. More FLEXIBILITY. As a mother of 5, flexibility has always been an issue. I wanted to work around my family activities and 9-5 just wasn't cutting it anymore. I also was diagnosed with a chronic illness, which leaves me very tired at times. I needed something that I was in control of.
3. The third reason was the MONEY. Initially, I was shocked by the amount of money that I HEARD could be earned in party plan businesses. It had to be harder than holding 2 shows a week and sharing with others what I do. I'm very cynical and just didn't believe that it was possible to earn $30,000-$75,000 a year or more.

1. I laugh more today. . .peekaboo panties, lace teddies and adult toys are just not life and death matters.
2. I am able to spend my time the way I choose. When I have family activities going on, I work my business around them. I can also shut down when I physically need to take care of myself.
3. Initially, I continued to work part-time until I reached a replacement income level. Actually, I worked part-time longer than that because, like I said, I'm cynical and was truly convinced that people would stop booking shows and my business would dry up. About a year and a half ago, I "retired" for my professional job. What a scary and exhilarating feeling! I then proceeded to make more money than I ever had working full-time.

So, the bottom line. . . I am truly blessed. . . One of the biggest blessings I have received in both my past career and my Undercover Wear career is to be able to help others and watch them grow! I have the absolute BEST TEAM in the world. (Several of my team members would disagree because they have their own teams and feel the same way about them) I know though that I have the BEST....
